The membership year runs from April to April. The Lectures run from October to April and are open to all. The Visits run from May to September and are for members and their guests only.
Membership is free for new members until the end of the current membership year i.e. 31 March. Thereafter the relevant subscription rate, as determined at the AGM, will be payable.
The subscription rates are at a small nominal cost to cover the running expenses of the Society. The benefits of membership are:

Retired - £40.00

Student - £15.00

Corporate - £200.00 provides membership for up to 4 people

Applications for membership to the Society are accepted from those engaged and interested in all aspects of engineering and are assessed by the President & committee.
